First Students Reach 150 Harris Points

RewardsOur new Harris Points rewards scheme is proving really popular. Over 57 girls and boys already have 150 or more points.

“If you do really well and get ‘star of the lesson’ you get five Harris Points,” says Viktorija, Year 10 (pictured with Assistant Principal Ms Clark). "There’s also points for attendance if you’re in all week.”

Special school trip

Rewards start with just 25 points, which earns a Level 1 reward of a special postcard home. The top Level 6 prize, for 500 points, is a special badge and also a guaranteed place on a weeklong residential trip at the end of the school year.

“I think students are more motivated to do well in class because there are rewards,” says Viktorija. “I’m hoping to get enough points to go on the reward trip. I’ve got about 300 points so far, so I’m really pleased.”

A huge well done to all our students who are working hard to win Harris Points!
