Careers - Parent Resources
We provide support for parents and families to help them guide their child to the right career that makes the most of their skills and interest.
Parents can find resources here that will help them find more information on Post-16 & Post-18 options including T-levels and apprenticeships.
We host a Careers Day before Year 9 GCSE options are selected with volunteers from a range of industry employers to speak about their educational routes and careers
We host a Careers Evening Event for Year 9-11 and their families to showcase the post-16 & post-18 options available to them, including Higher Education, Further Education, T-Levels and Apprenticeships. This event is supported by our Sixth Form students and includes an information assembly for parents to signpost the support and guidance that is available.
Support is also available through local providers for parents who want to pursue their own careers with training, workshops and employer events.

How can parents help?
Parents have the biggest role in their students lives and we hope that you will take advantage of the resources we provide to help guide your child’s progression into a fulfilling career.
We welcome parents to contact our Careers Lead Ms. Ferran if they are interested in volunteering their time to share with students their own careers journey or refer us to other sources of support.
