Basketball Success for our Primary School Team

Our new primary school basketball team finished an impressive fourth in a 16-school competition held in Bexley recently. “I was so proud of our children,” said Mr Taylor, our sports teacher who is working with all children across Key Stages 1 and 2.

“Everyone is working really hard and showing a great willingness to learn. Sport can teach so many transferrable skills such as discipline, teamwork and respect for other people,” says Mr Taylor, himself a goalkeeper who has played at professional level.

Our weekly multi-sports after school club is attended by as many as 30 children, with the chance to be coached at individual sports such as basketball and tag rugby too.
