100% Attendance Awards for Katie and Favour
Katie (right) and Favour are just two of our students who have been rewarded for their 100% attendance so far this year.
"Since Harris took over, my attendance has improved a lot," says Katie, who puts that down to the motivation of the rewards scheme. "We get Harris Points for good attendance and school trips as a reward too."
Katie says her friends talk about attendance and encourage each other to come to school every single day. "You can check on the boards to see who has good attendance," she says. "We just want to motivate each other to all come to school by talking about it."
"Don't miss out"
Favour, who also has 100% attendance, says that if you miss lessons you miss out on opportunities. "Missing lessons affects your grades which then affects your future too," he says. "Even missing one lesson might make the difference because you might miss out by just one mark in an exam, so you get a grade 6 instead of a grade 7."
