Whittington Course 2018 - Apply Now!
Applications are now open for students who want to go on one of the highlights of the school year - the annual Whittington Course on Tuesday 22 May.
This unique day-long trip begins with a ride on the Thames Clipper (pictured here) to Canary Wharf where you'll meet graduates working at Barclays and CIS Security Limited, who will speak about how their careers have grown to where they are today.
You'll take part in CV preparation and interview technique workshops and enjoy fabulous views over London from the famous Sky Garden (pictured at bottom of page).
Then you'll have lunch with graduates at London's historic Guildhall, where you can talk about your career aspirations and what you'd like to achieve.
"The trip is about encouraging students to understand that success and reward can be achieved through hard work and determination, irrespective of one’s background," said Business Studies teacher Mr Hem.
Applications close on Tuesday 20 March. To apply, in one page describe your career aspiration and explain why you should be chosen for the Whittington Course, and return your applications to Mr Hem before the closing deadline. Good luck.
