Loads Of New Books For Our Primary Library

With the £743.50 we raised from the Scholastic Book Fair earlier in the year, we have bought lots of new books for our primary children to enjoy!

Usually we scour charity shops for the best deals, but many of these new releases have only just been published. Titles include the popular Nevermoor series (brilliant if you love Harry Potter), the Wizard of Once series (written by the same author who wrote How to Train your Dragon) and the Polar Bear Explorers’ Club – a firm favourite with our Year 6 readers.

Library 2We have also included The Last Bear after the Year 4s and 5s loved the workshop by the author Hannah Gold earlier in the year.

Some of the books were requested by our students, and others were recommended by staff. We can’t wait to hear if the primary students enjoyed them. We have also added a brand-new recommended reading box so that the students can suggest others that we should buy.

Thank you to all the parents who purchased a book at our book fair - you gave us the gift of world-building books!
