Author Abimbola Akinmade Inspires HGA Children

Abimbola AkinmadeWe were delighted to welcome author Abimbola Akinmade recently to introduce us to her brand new book Say my Name. This is part of our celebration of our heritage.

Abimbola’s animated style and passionate storytelling had the children mesmerised and they loved the story.

Say my Name is a laugh-out-loud children's book aimed at ages 5-9 that celebrates names from all over the world. It teaches children about the beauty in diversity, and the importance of them knowing and taking pride in their heritage.

A huge thank you to Abimbola for coming along.
