Year 11 Interventions During October Half Term
Dear Parents/Carers
October Half Term Intervention
As the exam preparation gets more intense, we are offering intervention sessions for our Year 11 students to prepare them for the remaining mock exams coming up after the half term. For this reason your child is invited to attend some focused intervention sessions during the half term holiday. Punctual attendance at the sessions is expected and misbehaviour will not be tolerated.
Personalised timetables have been given to every student and it is an expectation that they attend this intervention sessions. Please ensure your son/daughter arrives promptly to their invited sessions and signs in at reception. For morning sessions the doors will open at 8.45am and close just before 9.30am.
If your son/daughter is invited to attend a whole day session, they are expected to bring a packed lunch to eat on site as students will not be allowed to leave the building for lunch. Students are not required to wear school uniform but are expected to arrive on time, stay for the whole duration of their session and make their way home when they finish.
If you have any queries regarding this intervention programme, please do not hesitate to contact the school office. May I take this opportunity to thank you for your support towards this final push in readiness for your son/daughter GCSE examinations.
Yours faithfully
