Duke of Edinburgh Students Aim for Bronze Award
We are proud to launch our first cohort of Duke of Edinburgh students, who should complete their Bronze Awards by the end of the Summer Term.
The Duke of Edinburgh is an inspiring and transformative organisation that has changed the lives of millions of young people from all walks of life. From volunteering to physical activities, life skills to expeditions, achieving a DofE Award is a passport to a brighter future, valued by employers and universities.
The Duke of Edinburgh Award encourages students to develop proficiency in four main areas: Skill, Volunteering, Physical and Expedition. These students are exploring the skill aspect of the award by creating images (pictured below) that will be put forward for a Summer Exhibition. Music also forms an integral part and we are looking forward to the lunchtime concerts which have been scheduled for the end of April.
The students are planning lunchtime concerts later in April.
