Students Praised for Helping Woman with Shopping
A local woman emailed our academy yesterday to thank and praise four of our students, Sonnie, Dione, Francesca and Ellie, who helped her carry her heavy shopping from Asda in Belvedere. She wrote:
"I’m just writing to inform you how well-mannered and behaved some of your students are. Yesterday four of your students saw me struggling outside Asda in Belverdere, as I am eight and and a half months pregnant.
When they saw me struggling they offered to help me. They helped me carry my shopping up the hill to the top of the road my house is on and when we got to my house I tried to offer them some money for helping me but they declined my offer.
I asked the girls for their names so I could tell the headmaster how well mannered and thoughtful they were. They said their names were Sonnie, Dione, Francesca and Ellie. You as a school should be extremely proud of these teenagers as most children wouldn’t of bothered to help. Thank you."
Well done girls, we are indeed very proud of you and have given you five extra Harris Points each to show it.
Mr Smith, Head of Academy
