Year 7 Builds Motte and Bailey Castles

Over the midterm my Year 7 History class (7B Hi1) were given a project to build a Motte and Bailey castle as part of their learning about how King William controlled England after the Norman conquest.

The rationale behind the project was to incorporate some cross-curricular independent work between History and Art. The students really produced some impressive castles.
