Exploring The Importance Of Urban Green Space
In September, students explored the importance of green space to wildlife and humans in urban areas through a Jack Petchey Eco-Award trip.
Ten students in Years 8-11 visited Camley Street Nature Park in the heart of London, and the Thames Estuary Partnership at UCL, to talk about linking green/blue space to increase biodiversity in urban areas, and Creekside Discovery Centre in Deptford to explore urban rivers and biodiversity.
