Student Eco-Council At Bexley Eco Festival
HGA students were well-represented at the Bexley Eco Festival on Saturday 25th June, promoting their message of 'Keep Thamesmead Tidy' by encouraging people to pick up litter.
Our Eco Council had their own stall at the event where they spoke to people about what they were doing at school, home and in the community to protect our environment.
Poppie, Year 4, picked litter and completed a litter survey at the event. The litter picking was supported by the HGA Eco-Council’s new Litter Picking Club. Student Michael has contributed his Jack Petchey award to the purchase of 30 new litter pickers.
Here's the poster that the Eco-Council will use to get across their message.
Our Eco-Council wear their smart jackets to show what they stand for. We are very proud of them for what they are doing!
