Students Plant 500 Trees As Part Of Climate Action
As part of the Mayor of London’s Schools’ Climate Kick-Start Programme, Harris Garrard students took action to help the environment earlier this month.
Key Stage 3 students planted 500 trees in the Academy grounds, enhancing our local environment, creating more biodiversity in the landscape and supporting the future of our planet.
This event coincided with the first ever Earthshot Prize in London and the UN Climate Change Conference (COP26) in Glasgow, giving students the chance to make a real difference during this important time of environmental action.
The students at Harris Garrard were proud to play such an important role in working together to tackle some of our planet’s biggest threats.
