Take a Virtual Museum Tour - Latest 'Prize Challenge' Winners
Every fortnight Mr Smith is setting all students a prize challenge. Here are the winners from our challenge to take a virtual museum tour and write about your experience. See our current challenge.
John, Year 8, wrote this lovely report of Australia Zoo.
"Firstly, I went to the koala’s area and I saw beautiful koalas and I gave them eucalyptus leaves. Later, I went to see a small Asian Otter. l saw kangaroo mother and her son. And I saw the Australia Zoo wildlife hospital, the busiest animal hospital in the world where over 51,000 animals have been treated." Download John's report here.
Toby, Year 9, 'visited' London Zoo and created this thoughtful report.
"I really would’ve like to go and see all the animals in person but we are experiencing lockdown so I did a virtual tour of London Zoo and I learnt about a few animals which was really interesting and if felt like I was there in person near the animals as it was just as good." Jashanpreet, Year 7, learns all about squirrel monkeys.
"Today I completed a virtual tour about the squirrel monkeys. I learnt that they like to live in groups and some groups could be up to 500 squirrel monkeys which is shocking. Some of the monkeys are really chatty and they are vocal, so they like to know where the other monkeys are.
"The zoo provides massive trees for the monkeys so they can climb up them and some of the monkeys love to sunbathe at the top of the trees." Download Jashanpreet's report here.
Victor, Year 3, was inspired by his 'visit' to the Science Museum.
Well done to all our winners this week!
