Our Basketball Team is Best in Bexley
Congratulations to our Key Stage 2 Basketball team who last week won the Bexley Borough Basketball Championship after going through the entire season and playoffs unbeaten.
They will now represent the Borough of Bexley at the London Youth Games, which take place in early July at the Crystal Palace National Sports Stadium.
The children were thrilled with their success as the opposition was strong throughout the tournament. "It was very challenging to play against such good teams and we had to work really hard to defend our lead," said team-member Aarif.
One of best sporting schools in Bexley
This is the second time we have qualified for the London Youth Games in 12 months, following our success in the Cricket last year when we finished 8th in all of London. We are also in the Bexley borough finals for Rugby and Netball too, cementing us as one of the best sporting schools in Bexley.
Thank you to the staff and parents who supported us at the Basketball final. Your support really made a difference!
