Meet Ms Banks, Assistant Principal Responsible for Additional Needs

Ms BanksWe are delighted to have extended our Senior Leadership Team with the permanent appointment of Ms Rowena Banks, Assistant Principal responsible for Additional Needs.

This means that as well as being the SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) for the primary phase, she also oversees a small inclusion team. They work together to support all the children and the families who need that little extra to ensure they achieve as highly as they can.

Since working in the academy we have been delighted with the impact Ms Banks has had and we can see how children supported by her and her team are daily growing in their own confidence and seeing success far more regularly. If, as parents you are worried about anything regarding your child's additional needs then please do contact Ms Banks through the school office and arrange to come and meet with her.
