Year 1 Become 'Forest School' Outdoor Explorers

Year 1 have had an amazing term at Forest School. They have become explorers, created dens for squirrel Nutella, learned the start of a shoe lace knot, studied leaves by doing rubbings and looking at how the leaves are changing colour, as well as creating some wonderful woodland art.

The children have been able to apply their learning to their lessons and have loved the challenges set for them.

Next term, Year 3 will be taking part in Forest School, linking with their science topic of plants.
