Packed House for Primary International Days
This month we held two International Days for our primary children where we celebrated our rich cultural heritage.
The evenings were a chance for children to share singing, drama and knowledge of their own and other peoples’ heritages with parents, and share each other's food too. Parents brought dishes so after the children's presentations we had a huge feast of food from all of the cultural backgrounds we represent.
They were a tremendous success and the packed hall was a direct result of the unquestionable commitment and loyalty of parents and children to this event. Thank you so much.
We have learned so much through our International Evenings of how people cared enough to make a difference to those of us enjoying the benefits today. There was laughter, joy and tears as hard messages hit home and we were challenged within.
How the staff who have worked so hard this week to put this together is commendable. Thank you to everyone for making the events not only professional, fun, interesting and celebratory but also passionate, emotive and challenging. Thank you. We have made memories that will last forever.
